My name is  Amna Hasecic and I’ll turn 18 years old this year. I was born in Bosnia but I grew up and live in a small town called Höfn in the south-east of Iceland. I live with my parents, Nihad and Jasminka, and little brother, Mirza. My dad works at the local elementary school and is also a football coach while my mom works in the largest freezing plant in town. I go to the school FAS where I´m on my third year, I study natural science along with Mathematics, History, Icelandic, English and lots more. I haven´t decided what I want to do in the future but I think something that involves history and literature.

My favorite color is purple and my favorite food is corn and sarma (which is a Bosnian traditional dish). I love watching TV-shows such as Grey´s Anatomy, Bones, 90210, One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and more. I like reading classical and urban fantasy novels. I love photography and I take pictures of everything. I love travelling and go to Bosnia every year to visit my family that lives there and to see my best friend.

I basically listen to any kind of music it just depends on what kind a mood I´m in at the time. Every semester so far, I have been part of a theater group called “FAS Theater” where we set up plays for the locals. I enjoy acting very much and it’s a lot of fun being part of the whole play experience.

I love going to new places, getting to know other cultures and meeting new people, so I´m really looking forward to meeting you :D -
