Wednesday the 21st - A long day ......

On the way to the glacier exihibition. In the back FAS.

Our Wednesday started at 8:00 o´ clock in the morning.  Icelanders and Lithuanians were working in groups at school: we had to answer the questions about electric bulbs which save energy.

At the glacier exhibition.

After the hard work we decided to have a break and light snacks. The next activity we had was a visit to an Art gallery and the Glacier exibition. There we were introduced with interesting stories about Ice age and people who were always attracted by mysterious nature, so we went to glacier museum, (Jöklasýning).

At an art exhibition at the town hall. After the lunch break we went to the Atlantic ocean.

The programm after the lunch was even more entertaining. The visit to Stokksnes got us to fell the power of ocen. The huge waves impressed us a lot. We had tried the temperature of water too, some of us with shoes on. Soon after we went to the Viking village. It was amazing to fell the spitit of  Icelandic history.

The Atlantic ocean - a lot of power!

The evening at school was full of fun. We had a  traditional Icelandic cuisine party. We had tried almost everythig starting from sheep head to the sea food. We were beaten by the Islandic desserts.
